UNITED NATIONS, Feb 17 (IPS) – Partners of the 2021 ‘AI for the Planet’ summit say big data, artificial intelligence and digital technology can bring a 10-20 percent reduction in global carbon dioxide emissions by 2030International organisations, researchers and data scientists say artificial intelligence (AI) and big data are critical to combat years of promises but inadequate action on the climate, biodiversity and pollution crises.
